For the contemporary artist (and his paintings), color therapy is another sphere of activity well known by primitive arts. For Guillevic, therapy doesn't mean psychoanalysis. It's not the analysis of the psyche in its entirety that we are talking about: the Oedipus's story was not done in the light! And without light no colors... Color therapy consists essentially in making visual colors. So, in "Art for everybody", it is a matter of seeing and not doing.
"The one who sees is blending the colors in his eye as a mash. It is a secret. The one who will do the best mash will have the best picture, but the mash can be spoiled if we use bad flour. The enthusiasm for seeing, hearing and reading is more important than the enthusiasm for painting, singing or writing."
